This Cape Cod style home, with about 3000 sf of finished living area, has a Southern Living feel about it. In fact, the floor plan for this home comes from a Southern Living design. Soaring ceilings and elaborate trim details throughout elicit comments of “Wow!!” from those who visit. This home also features one of the most efficient and comfortable heating systems available, hot water radiant floor heat. So when you take your shoes off and walk on the honey colored antique heart pine floors, your feet stay nice and toasty. Our challenge on this site was to preserve several very old and large specimen trees that had been living there for many generations before our Client decided to build his home. Needless to say, we all agreed that the trees were there first and should be preserved. And so, we took special care to protect them during construction.
